Our Story

In 1998, we met while attending Especially for Youth LDS Camp in Rexburg, ID. We went our separate ways to Oregon and Utah. We didn't know much about each other, only that if one of us would write a letter, the other would return the favor. We kept writing until Aaron finally moved to Utah. We were married in November 2001. We are Mormons. We are University of Utah Alumni! We are fans of LOST! We love good Mexican food. We are parents of 2 beautiful girls and 1 handsome boy. Welcome to our blog!

Fly Fishing

Who would've known that by moving to Utah Aaron would not only find his soul mate & career, but a hobby he never knew he had. Aaron started fly fishing and I have yet to eat one of his lunkers. I guess that's why they say catch & release. Aaron has fly fished the Provo River, Milcreek Canyon, Strawberry Reservoir, Big & Little Cottonwood Canyon, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Yellowstone River, Back-Country Wind River Lakes, and any other stream we drive by that looks promising. Making Music

I've spent many many hours and brain cells trying to spread the love of music in the small community I live in. My faithful and patient mother raised me to appreciate what music can do for the soul and for the heart. I hope to keep her love of music alive in what I do. I spend my early mornings and afternoons inviting children into my home to help them learn to love music through playing the violin. I am so lucky to have a career I love doing and keeps me playing an instrument I've worked so hard to feel confident with. I enjoy playing with friends for weddings/parties in quartets and other groups. "Perhaps it is music that will save the world" -Plato
