you are my (other) obsession....

Isabelle has no fear when it comes to any size dog, aka puppy! She can't get enough, she walks up to them, pets them, talks to them, follows them, absolutely loves them! In Oregon, there were a few puppies to fulfill her other obsession...

Whoah, nice to meet ya!

Giving the puppy what she calls "HUGS!"
Jumping for joy, double the delight, two puppies & Aunt Lynsay!!!!!!!!!!
A cute shot of Lynsay, Izzy, and Lynsay's puppy, Riley.

you are my obsession...

Isabelle is obsessed with babies, in the best way possible. She is content when equipped with any baby doll, and her interaction with them gets cuter and cuter as she gets older.

This picture says it all. In Oregon, Isabelle got acquainted with some new baby dolls and was in heaven! I love her smile in this photo, pure joy!
Checking up on the little one...

Kisses!
Probably singing a little lullaby in toddler-jibberish!

Aaron and Izzy visit Oregon

I'm posting these photos having not experienced them myself. Aaron and Isabelle spent a week in Oregon visiting Great Grandma & Grandpa Warren, Grandma & Grandpa Norton, Great-Aunt Carol & Becky-with husband Chris, and Jordan & Jacob, Aunt Brandy, Uncle Ray, cousin Jason, Uncle Daryl, Aunt Lynsay, Uncle Adam & many animal friends, take a look....

Aaron, Izzy, and Great-Grandma Gladys-Aaron's Mom's Mom, she looks so young! This is overlooking the cute Oregon town of Roseburg where they live. They own the pasture-like property behind them where they have horses. Such a serene place to be and Isabelle had a blast!
Aaron, Izzy, and a bird on Aaron's shoulder making Aaron look uncomfortable, Izzy's in pink, her color of choice.
This picture is adorable, she's touching a baby duck or chick it looks like. It also makes me feel like my tire-less efforts getting her hair in ponytails is a good thing when I see her hair like this.
I love this picture-Aaron giving his GQ smile, and Izzy pouting about something even though she's equipped with both her "bink & blanke"-notice how she's rubbing her palm with the bunny ear that's attached to her blanket, one of her signature moves.

Me Time...

Aaron is half-way done with Nursing School, in Salt Lake slang: halle-freakin'-lujah! He is so excited to have a summer with no clinicals, patient care-plans, study groups, tests, and overall school stress. To kick off the summer, he booked a flight to see his family in Oregon this week. It just so happens to fall on Mothers Day weekend so with his family dying to see adorable Isabelle, it turned into a "mothers 'free' day" for me, or rather a mother-free week! Without my attention towards my husband and toddler, I've had oodles of me-time, it's been great! I have vowed to not use the measuring cups for anything, not crack open the recipe box, never make the bed, only cook things from the freezer, visit a local restaurant I've been wanting to try with a book as my company. The book part has now been completed as I got Stephenie Meyer's new book "The Host" today. I've done a few home projects I'm proud of with my time, a little shopping, teaching of course, attended a students' solo recital, planned a girls movie night which was a blast, slept in, taken extremely long showers at whatever time I want, gotten ahead on some summer scheduling needs for my studio, and I still have 3 more days off of motherhood-what will I do next? That's the best part, I don't know!
